Field of candidates grows for Janesville City Council

The race for Janesville City Council grows to eight candidates.  The latest to obtain nomination papers are 64-year-old Paul Williams and 44-year-old Steve Knox.  Williams is a former council member who served from 2000 to 2008.  He currently drives a truck for Wurtz Towing and attended UW-La Crosse.  Knox is a senior buyer for Sub-Zero Group and holds a bachelor's degree from UW-Whitewater.  The other candidates include incumbents Jim Farrell and Richard Gruber, along with challengers Jens Jorgensen, Spencer Zimmerman, Billy McCoy, and William Matteson.
