A 24-year-old man is in custody in connection with the armed robbery of a Whitewater pharmacy.
Whiteweater Police say officers were dispatched to McCullough’s Prescription and Gifts just before 10:30 Tuesday morning on the report of an armed robbery.
A lone suspect had displayed a knife and fled north on foot with an undisclosed amount of painkillers.
A short time later Nathaniel D. Herman was arrested at a residence on North Fraternity Lane in Whitewater.
Officer recovered the knife used in the robbery and there were no reported injuries.
