An ironworker and activist from Caledonia is getting an endorsement from Wisconsin Working Families Party in his bid to unseat Representative Paul Ryan in the First Congressional District.  Randy Bryce has been active in the Working Families Party since it launched in 2015.  Wisconsin Working Families is the state affiliate of the national Working Families Party, which describes itself as a grassroots political organization believing political leaders should answer to working families and not wealthy donors.  Bryce will face Cathy Myers of Janesville in the 2018 Democratic primary.
