The I39/90 reconstruction project in Janesville will prompt a closure of East Milwaukee Street, under the Interstate, from Monday morning til Thursday night next week. Department of Transportation Project Spokesman Steve Theisen says work crews will be staining the concrete. Other work will include the closure of I-39/90 southbound ramp to WIS 11/Avalon Road from 8 p.m. Monday (Sept.9) to 5 a.m. Tuesday (Sept. 10). Kennedy Road is planned to be closed to all traffic under the Interstate from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. Tuesday (Sept. 10). Access will be maintained to Old Kennedy Road and North Brentwood Drive neighborhoods. And the I-39/90 southbound ramp to WIS 11/Racine Street is set to be closed from 8 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 12) to 5 a.m. Friday (Sept. 13).
