A 58-year-old homeless man, found dead earlier this week in downtown Janesville, may have been alone, but he was not unknown. ECHO Associate Director Jessica Locher says they’d offered to help him on many occasions. Locher says a small portion of the areas homeless population chooses not to accept services. She says his death illustrates some of the hazards of being homeless. The Rock County Medical Examiners office identifies the deceased as Michael P. Terry. He was found dead late Monday morning near a dumpster by the Olde Towne Mall.
