A local Congressman says the two- trillion dollar CARES Act offers much needed support to America on two fronts. Bryan Steil of Janesville says health professionals are fighting a pandemic, while businesses are being shuttered and record numbers of workers are becoming unemployed. The Republican says the bill provides free coronavirus testing for Americans and ensures health professionals have the supplies they need. Additionally, the CARES Act protects the paychecks of people working at places like restaurants and hotels and provides assistance to workers who may lose their job due to coronavirus.
