While COVID-19 cases slowly increase in Rock County, the number of hospitalizations is decreasing.
Rock County Public Health Department Epidemiologist Zick Zupan says there have been about 160 new cases over the last week.
Zupan says right now there are about 250 active cases in Rock County with eight patients currently being hospitalized.
Zupan says about 30% of Rock County residents have gotten at least the first dose of the vaccine and about 20% of the population is fully vaccinated.
