WCLO's Steve Benton reports on spring growth at Janesville's Rotary Gardens
JANESVILLE The first signs of spring are apparent at Rotary Gardens in Janesville.
Executive Director Ed Lyon says the early bloomers are beginning to show. He says among the life emerging from the ground are Iris, Crocus, and Winter Aconite.
If you're looking for a little more than color, Lyon says birds are adding their music to the scenery.
Despite being early in the year, Lyon says they do get a fair number of visitors. He says there are no specific programs at the gardens yet, but visitors are welcome.
