The National Night Out in Janesville seems to get bigger every year.

Hundreds packed the streets surrounding the Janesville Police Department Tuesday night to enjoy booths, displays, and a big demonstration by the K9 units, and SWAT Team. This year's event was moved to the police station, rather than the typical site in Traxler Park, to better inform the public about the department's crime fighting techniques. A full hour was dedicated to demonstrations.

Many parents remarked how glad they were to introduce their children to the importance of law enforcement in a safe and fun environment.
