Feingold talks issues with Janesville Noon Rotary
U.S. Senator Russ Feingold tells the Janesville Noon Rotary he's hoping for more bipartisanship in Congress under the next president.
Feingold says the three leading candidates understand, and are likely to work with, Congress. He says five key issues would benefit from bipartisanship: health care, education, campaign finance reform and a scaled-down line item veto.
Feingold also told Rotary members a timeline for troop withdrawal may be the best option for ending the war in Iraq. He says Middle Eastern countries will never help stabilize the as long as a non-Islamic country is perceived as occupying an Islamic nation.
