WCLO's Steve Benton reports on final plans for Southern Rock County's Airfest

— Southern Wisconsin Airfest officials are busy taking care of last minute details as the annual event nears.

Airfest Executive Director, Julia Dacy, says as the weather warms up, so do ticket sales.

This year's headliners include some awesome jets including including the Canadian Snowbirds, an Air Force F-15 and a Navy F-18. Dacy says it looks like a lot of pilots from Canada want to bring their aircraft down for the ground display this year because of the Snowbirds.

Dacy says the first of the acts will begin showing up in less than three weeks, on May 21st. The event will be held Memorial Day weekend, May 24th and 25th, at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport.
