Woodman's employees plan rally

WCLO's Beth Wheelock reports on the rally planned for Woodman's union workers.

Woodman's grocery store union workers plan a rally at Janesville's Palmer Park Thursday afternoon.

Citizen Action of Wisconsin is sponsoring the rally. Director of Programs Robert Kraig says people in Janesville know manufacturing jobs are hard to hold onto in the global economy. He says in the service sector there are far fewer family-supporting jobs. Kraig says Phil Woodman is trying to drive out the union at his stores. Woodman says, "My only response is it's freedom of speech."
