WCLO's Steve Benton reports on the need for foster families in Rock County
ROCK COUNTY The need for foster families is nationwide, and Rock County is not immune.
Substitute Care Supervisor for Rock County Human Services, Renee Sutkay, says foster families are needed throughout the county, especially in Beloit.
Sutkay says the work can be very hard and families often need to be very flexible. She says qualified families must pass required screenings, including finger printing by the FBI.
Interested families should contact Renee Sutkay at 757-5240. Saturday, May 10th, there's a recruitment program scheduled from 2-3 p.m. at First Lutheran Church, 612 North Randall Ave., in Janesville.
