Three people are injured in a Beloit shooting shortly before 3:00 AM Saturday.

Captain Bill Tyler says Beloit Police responded to multiple reports of shots being fired in the 1200 block of Randall Avenue. Officers located a house that had been struck by several rounds. Police found additional evidence and shell casings at the scene. Shortly after arriving on scene, police were notified that gunshot victims had arrived at the Beloit Memorial Hospital emergency room.

A 25-year-old Chicago man was shot at least three times and is hospitalized. A 19-year-old Beloit man was shot at least once, suffered an additional non-gunshot related injury and is also being treated at a local hospital. Both men's injuries are considered non-life threatening. A third victim, a Beloit woman, suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.

Tyler says the incident is not believed to be gang related.
