WCLO's Steve Benton reports Judy Robson slated to receive an award

BELOIT — A coalition of women's groups in the state has picked Senator Judy Robson as "stateswoman of the year."

Executive Director of the Wisconsin League of Women Voters, Andrea Kaminski, says Robson is a perfect selection for this year's award. She says Robson stands out when you look at her accomplishments.

The award will be handed out at a brunch October 26th, at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center in Madison. Political science professor at Beloit college, Georgia Duerst-Lahti, is the keynote speaker.
