Beloit marks 100th anniversary of state's first airplane flight
On November 4th, 100 years ago, Aurthur Pratt Warner taxied his plane out of a barn on the Morgan Farm in Beloit, and before he knew it, he was flying.
Wednesday state aviation enthusiasts will gather near the site of the original flight, where Morgan Elementary School now stands, for a reenactment.
Members of the Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame have put together a program for 9:00 o'clock.
