WCLO's Steve Benton says conditions are great in Janesville for skaters and cross country skiers

— Cold temperatures and lack of new snow are making ideal conditions for Janesville's outdoor skating rink at Traxler Park.

Parks Director, Tom Presny says city crews have applied several layers of water to the rink, which is now several inches thick. Skaters will also be able to take advantage of the warming house at Traxler Park beginning Wednesday afternoon.

Cross Country Skiers can also get some exercise since about six miles of trails are groomed in Rockport Park.
