Was on kennedy rd again this morning. Yes, it stinks like always. I would NEVER live where it stinks like that. What about the businesses over in that area? Yuk!!!!!

I live one block from the Janesville city dump. I have had to deal with the obnoxious smell for a couple of years now. I have called different people in this city about what we have to deal with. Nothing ever to come about of it. Half of them never even return your phone calls even after several calls. Whats that all about.
We wake up to the smell in the winter when we leave our home. My children gag and have puked outside on the way to the car to head for school. the stench on some days is unbearable. Like this morning!!! It looks like a beautiful day out until you open your door. In the summer we can no longer open our windows to have a nice cool evening breeze, all you smell is stench. During the summer I would rather have the windows open but we can't because of the smell. We have to run the air conditioning!! Because of the city I have to pay $$$ to keep my house closed up to keep the smell out. My children suffer the most. They can't play in their own yard because they feel sick after being outside. That is sad. The city said we would not be affected by the dump being placed there. Well they are wrong soooo wrong. Why could they not put the dump a few miles out of town?
Where is Erin Brockovich when you need her????

My mother lives near the mall. The smell is absolutely nauseating. I don't know how she stands it to be quite honest.

The city should stop immediately from allowing all of southern wi and northern il from using this land fill, I dont care what the DNR dictates. STOP IT, To he-- with the money , health is more important. We may have to get national attention on this situation before someone does something about it.

I walked out of Culvers on Milton Ave. one night and it was the worst smell. Not mistake it smelled like something rotten, not natural gas. Anywhere there along Milton Ave. it is bad.

Everytime I go to the east side I can smell it. Thankfully I can't smell it where I live now. It's disgusting. I'd rather smell manure.

Yes, I smelled it by Prent on Kennedy Road. If RetiredGM thinks that's just "natural gas", his sniffer must be confused from breathing stuff at GM all them years.

I live in Janesville and I've been smelling the landfill everyday on I-90 to and from work for a year and a half! I've noticed the stench while shopping. It's pretty bad that I don't even want to shop retail in Janesville anymore because of the stink! I'd rather drive to Madison! I think each community should have their own landfill because I'm sick of smelling all of Rock County's garbage!!! Yuck!!!

I have smelled it on the Interstate driving by Janesville! The mall is sometimes filled with the odor and Hobby Lobby reeked of it the last time I was in there. There have been times when the odor has filled my house, near Craig High School, in the middle of the night with all the windows and doors shut tight! Is it coming through the ground?

I can't smell it- my nose is so messed up from our dirty air that I can't smell much of anything.

I can smell it from North Parker Drive all the way out to the Mall, and from 51/Humes Road to all the way to Centerway. I can smell that nastiness even with my windows up!

You can smell it nearly every night if you drive down Milton Avenue.
