Tradition Continues

I'm not a golfer let's make that point right from the start. My dad and my younger brother love the game. One thing though in my job I have come to appreciate is how good the good players are. I don't have a clue about draws, cuts, that sort of thing when it comes to swings. While I don't have any knowledge about that stuff,I do marvel at what these guys and gals on the pro tour can do. I do from time to time watch golf on T-V. The Masters is one of those times. Most of all though,it is a time where my dad and I can spend some time together if the situation presents itself. We try to get together on Masters weekend,we were able to this past Sunday. Nothing like sitting in front of the T-V with our Maid Rite burgers (my folks live in the Quad Cities in Illinois). I grew up on Maid Rites. Top if off with a chocolate malt from Whitey's Ice Cream and it was a wonderful afternoon. More important of course, was spending time with my Dad. While in his upper 70's,he still plays 3 times a week and has his opinion on every golfer. He too marvels at what the players can do and he knows the heck a draw or cut is.
