Countdown to 2010.

By Tim Bremel ( Contact )   December 30, 2009

Because you may not be up at 11:59pm on 12/31, I wanted to be sure our New Year Greeting reaches all our listeners. Here's the text of our Countdown message for 2010.

(airing on WCLO at 11:59pm on 12/31/09)

Good evening. This is WCLO program director, Tim Bremel.
It’s hard to believe that another year has gone by. It has been a year of facing challenges and overcoming adversity and for many of us, one of major life changes and disappointments. But we’ve also seen the generosity and resilience of our community shine through in these difficult times. So, as we prepare to leave 2009 behind and look forward to new hopes and dreams for 2010, I want to thank you for putting your trust in us at WCLO to keep you entertained and informed. As the world seems to continue to demand more and more of each of us, everyone at WCLO continues to strive to bring you the important news and information you need to know. From closings and weather updates to local news, issues and events, we want to begin this new decade with a firm resolve to continue to be YOUR radio station. Thank you for your trust … and from our family to yours… wishes for a safe and blessed 2010. Now, to begin our resolution to continue brining you southern Wisconsin’s most complete news … count down with me to midnight and our first national newscast of 2010. In 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, Happy New Year from WCLO, Janesville/Beloit.
